Harry Styles has always made a conscious effort not to label himself – a playful, elusive version of when it comes to gender and sexuality. For most young people, wouldn’t his personal identity really matter if his music was great too?
Harry Styles’ outfits aren’t necessarily genderless, but he always wears them that way. There has long been a conservative notion: Glitter is for girls, blazers should be for men. However, that did not change his mind.
“What do women have to wear? How should men dress? That’s not something I’m interested in. If I see a nice shirt and someone says, “This shirt is for women,” I think, “Okay, but that doesn’t make me want to wear it any less.”
